Chilli con carne
This one is our all time favourite. If asked what's my best recipe for the instant pot, this must be one of it. Hearty, spicy, heart warming stew for the ultimate hygge.
For 4 person:
1 onion - chopped
4 garlics - chopped
500g minced beef (or impossible beef)
2 cans of red kidney beans (or 250g of dry kidney beans)
3 tablespoon tomato paste
1 can (28oz) crushed tomatoes
Herbs and seasoning:
- 1 tablespoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 cup chicken stock

- 1 cup chicken stock
1. SAUTE beef till brown. Add salt and pepper
2. Add onion, garlic, red kidney beans and herbs. Stirfry till fragrant
3. Add everything else except for the canned tomatoes. Stir.
4. Add the can of crushed tomatoes on top. DO NOT STIR.
5. MANUAL high pressure for 10min.
6. Add some jalepenos (Spicy green peppers), cheddar cheese, serve with yoghurt or avocado
